At Skeate LLC, we understand that plans can change — whether due to personal reasons, travel restrictions, or the unexpected nature of life itself. While our adventures are designed to push boundaries, we strive to make our refund process fair, transparent, and respectful of both our travelers and local partners.
1. General Policy
All refund requests must be made in writing by emailing [email protected]. Your refund eligibility depends on the type of trip, how far in advance you cancel, and the terms outlined below.
2. Cancellation by the Customer
Refunds for cancellations initiated by the traveler are issued according to the following schedule:
More than 60 days before departure:
90% refund of the total tour cost (10% retained as administrative fee).
31–60 days before departure:
50% refund of the total tour cost.
15–30 days before departure:
25% refund of the total tour cost.
14 days or less before departure:
No refund.
Please note: Deposits paid at the time of booking are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated.
3. No-Shows and Early Departures
Failure to appear on the departure day or leaving the trip early for any reason will result in no refund, as arrangements and guides have already been confirmed.
4. Trip Modifications or Cancellations by Skeate
We reserve the right to cancel or modify a trip due to:
Weather or natural disasters
Political unrest or safety concerns
Insufficient tour enrollment
Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
In such cases, travelers will receive one of the following options:
A full refund of the amount paid
A credit for a future tour
A rebooking on an alternate available trip
We will work with you to find the best solution, but we are not responsible for additional costs (e.g., flight changes, visa fees).
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and adventure activities coverage. Skeate LLC is not liable for losses due to missed flights, injuries, or border denials.
6. Group Bookings and Custom Tours
For private groups or custom-tailored trips, refund terms may vary depending on the agreements in place and third-party arrangements. These terms will be provided during the booking process and supersede the general policy above.
7. Processing of Refunds
Refunds are typically processed within 10–14 business days after written confirmation. All refunds will be returned to the original payment method used. Bank or transfer fees may apply and are non-refundable.
